Geothermal Heating & Cooling is a very Cost Effective Solution

01/30/2014
Geothermal heating and cooling is by far one of the most efficient ways to control the climate of your home. It takes a fraction of the energy to heat your home that a traditional system will, which is more money in your pocket. That being said, you might be wondering just how well geothermal performs comparatively. Our systems are able to take one units of power and turn it into up to 5 units of heating or cooling power. That’s up to a whopping 500% efficiency! To put that into perspective, traditional units cap out at an efficiency of 98% (or about one for one).

While the monthly savings that you’ll experience every month on your heating and cooling bills is a fantastic reason to consider a geothermal unit, we have even more incentives for you to consider. There’s a one-time, 30% tax credit that you are eligible for through the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008. In order to qualify for this tax credit, the system needs to meet or surpass the EnergyStar requirements that are stated in the bill. All of our geothermal units fall into this category, so no matter which one is the best choice for your home you’ll be able to take advantage of these tax credits.

Take a look around our products section to get a general idea of the types of geothermal units we have to offer. After you’re done, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions that you might have come up with. We’ll be more than happy to answer them, and help you find the perfect solution for all your heating and cooling needs.
