Like the indoor split, the outdoor unit automatically switches to the most economical heating source for improved energy conservation when used with a fossil fuel furnace. All 5 Series split units utilize ozone-safe R-410A refrigerant and boast the newest generation of controls, Aurora, for simplified troubleshooting and setup. Easily accessible controls and connections as well as internally mounted loop pumps make this unit simple to install in a wide variety of applications.
